This 1926 Ford Model T Tudor sedan is currently up and running nicely in the Crossville, Tennessee area. It is available on a chauffered basis for weddings, graduations, funerals, etc. and the cost for driver (me) and car is $250.00/hour. Minimum of two hours ($500.00), plus $250.00/hour after the initial two hours, or any portion thereof. The billing starts from the time I pull out of my driveway and ends the time I return to my garage in Crossville, TN. Maximum passengers, to include driver, is four. Payment in cash for the first two hours is due up front prior to the engagement, and payment in cash for any additional time is due at the end of the engagement. Transit return time from the event location will be estimated by the driver (me) and collected at the end of the event. I am willing to trailer the car within a 250 navigable mile radius (NOT ‘as the crow flies’) of my Crossville residence, cost of this service TBD based on location of event. Approx. trailering cost is $200.00 for the first 25 miles (each way, or $400 total for an event 25 miles away), plus $2.50/per loaded mile (each way) for any events farther away than 25 miles from my residence. Event must end prior to dusk, because even though the car has functional headlights/taillights, this 100 year old vehicle is not recommended to be on the road after dark. This car will not be leased/rented to any party without my presence as driver/chauffer. I purchased this car in 2021 in Oswego, IL and at that time it needed just about everything except body paint. It was painted moca brown back in approx. 1974, and although it has some checking and cracks here and there, it looks pretty good overall when shined up. Everything else except the glass needed something done; restoration, replacing, painting, etc. Since the interior was completely rat-chewed and destroyed, I began removing it when I found a rear upholstered side panel that had been signed on the backing material by the initial restorers, a father and son team in Gurnee IL dated June 1974. I cut this signature and date out, placed it in a ‘time capsule’ located within the upholstery for the future owner to find once he feels the need to replace the upholstery (for the third time), and along with it I put a description of the work that I had to do starting in 2021, namely:

1. Gut and replace carpets, seat upholstery, roof liner, along with door cards, door trim, basically the entire interior.
2. Replace old tires with new wide white wall Firestone tires.
3. Strip and paint the hickory wood spokes.
4. When I purchased the car, it had a 1925 transmission/engine installed, and I removed this and had a correct 1926 engine/transmission rebuilt in March/April 2026 by Kevin Prus in Columbiana, OH. to include a high compression cylinder head and 280 grind camshaft with Chevrolet valves and keepers. Original 20 HP engine power has been increased to an approximate 32HP to help overcome the many hills locally in Cumberland County, TN.
5. Rebuilt the driveline, to include new U-joint, replace the front driveshaft bushing, rear driveshaft bearing, replaced pinion and ring gear, replaced the original babbitt thrust bearing with modern brass thrust bearing, axle seals, etc.
6. Body work and paint to the fenders, splash guards, interior metal work, seat frames, frame, etc.
7. Replaced original steel core radiator with modern copper core unit.
8. Replaced some wood top lattice, replaced padding and vinyl top covering.
9. Replaced both front Timkin wheel bearings.
10. Added rear stop lights, turn signals for safety.
11. Too many other minor items to list.

I have over the last 15 years I have owned 50 Model T’s, and have sold 49 of them. I plan on keeping this one, as it took the most time to complete and is my favorite body style of all the Model T’s I have owned: it is enclosed so that I do not get drenched when it rains, it can lock to keep sticky fingers from walking off with my gear, it has the wide brake and low gear pedals so that I can drive it without taking my shoes off, unlike the 1925 models and older, and it has a rear seat to accommodate passengers/luggage.

Hotel/meals for overnight stays for the driver and vehicle will be invoiced $150 per night for rural or $250 per night for urban events, subject to adjustment by owner based on market conditions. Event must end prior to dusk, because even though the car has functional headlights/taillights, this 100 year old vehicle is not recommended to be on the road after dark. This car will not be leased/rented to any party without my presence as driver/chauffer. Driver will only be required to drive the car at the direction of the renter, and will not be tasked with any manual labor, food/drink delivery, baby sitting, or any activity other than driving.  Driver shall remain with the vehicle during the event.

Space is limited on this vehicle, although relatively comfortable for (4) persons of 250 pounds or less. This vehicle shall not be used to transport anything other than the person renting it and maximum two others.  No pets, luggage or personal effects other than a purse, handbag or clutch for each passenger.  No eating, drinking or smoking within the interior of the car.  Any damages incurred to the car during the rental period caused by the renter or parties affiliated with the event and/or renter shall be assessed by the driver (Steven K. Angvick) and are the responsibility of the renter.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I acknowledge this is a purely recreational activity for me in a vintage vehicle that was built in 1926 and is over 100 years old.  At the time of its manufacture and production, it was made with material and parts available at that time.  I understand this vehicle does not have safety equipment (e.g., air bags) commonly used in vehicle manufactured today.  I further understand this vehicle may be driven on modern roads and streets amongst modern day vehicles. 

I do hereby recognize and acknowledge this waiver is a release from any and all liability and causes of action including negligence on the part of the operator or driver, their agents, representatives, servants, assigns, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and any and all persons, natural or corporate, in privity with them.

I further hereby release the operator or driver from any liability due to a malfunction or a defect in any equipment, whether such malfunction or defect be related to a manufacturing defect or design defect or both.

In the event suit is brought, I hereby agree for myself, my executors, administrators, and assigns to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator or driver, including their agents, representatives, servants, assigns, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and any and all persons, natural or corporate, in privity with them, from any and all liability for any sums which might be payable to anyone by reason of my death or injury, or any damages I might cause upon some other person or entity. 

I have carefully read this waiver and fully understand its contents.  I am aware this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and Steven K. Angvick d/b/a ANGVICK ANTIQUE MOTORS CO, and sign it as my own free act and deed.  I also assume the risk of riding in this vintage vehicle.
